Tripawds is a user-supported community. Thank you for your support!

Well day four, My little Min is doing so well. She is so fed up with being made to rest. She wants to play go up and down the stairs. She loves her mommy, and won’t let me go anywhere. She still has her appetite and recovering very well. I think because she had not used that little leg for over a year, she is use to walking on three legs.
I was so worried as she is 13 years old. Very relieved and enjoying reading all the blogs and love reading about other babies recoveries. My children are all grown, so my Minnie is my baby.

Great news. It is hard to keep them quiet, but really important during the first two weeks or so. Most vets recommend short leashed potty breaks only. Maybe if the weather is nice where you are you can go sit outside with her? Even if she is not active, she might enjoy the stimulation of fresh air and new sights to see.
